The Dallas Center-Grimes basketball teams were back in action on Tuesday night.

DCG girls were looking to continue their winning streak against a struggling Pella Christian team. Emma Miner brought her “A” game scoring 17 points in the first half including 3 three pointers. DCG held the lead of 31 to 12 at intermission and carried the momentum in the second half which led to a victory 62 to 23. Now they sit at (10-2) with an undefeated conference record at (6-0).

Hudson Elhert was in street clothes and not able to play in the boys matchup against Pella Christian and they would really need him especially in the first half. The Mustangs only scored 18 points in first two quarters while allowing 48 points from Pella Christian. DCG allowed Tysen De Vries who has scored the most points so far in the Little Hawkeye Conference to get into a groove early and he led the Eagles with 20 points. Jonthan Howard had 16 second half points and Jackson Green had 9 second half points but it wasn’t enough in this one. DCG fell to Pella Christian 68 to 57. The Mustangs are now (6-3) on the season with a (2-3) conference record. Their next game will be at Pella on Friday.
