Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 2100 block of 1st Ave. Report of a window shot out with a bb gun. Unknown when it happened. Case under investigation. Arrest: Alexis Marie Clark, age 20, 6707 Sherrick Ave, Des Moines, was arrested on a Polk County Warrant, and a Dallas County Warrant, both for probation violations.
Arrest: Torry Blake Densen, age 38, 1617 lowa, Perry was taken into custody and charged with driving under suspension.
Accident:
Vehicle 1 blue 2006 blue BMW 325, registered to Melvin David Villalobos Sandoval, 2015 Estella, Perry and driven by Francisco Javier Villalobos Sandoval, 2015 Estella, Perry. Vehicle 2 silver 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo registered to Linda Marie Whelchel, 1628 Otley Perry, driven by Clarissa Eve Miller, 1722 2nd St, Perry.
Vehicle 2 was southbound on 6th St. Vehicle 1 was westbound on Bateman at an uncontrolled intersection. Vehicle 1 collided with vehicle 2 in the intersection. Total estimated damages $4000. Driver of unit 1 was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability accident related.
January 10:
Arrest: Chowng Tyng Wong, age 28, 3404 E 29th St, Des Moines was taken into custody and charged with driving while barred.
Arrest: David Ray Linn, age 44, 1718 4th St., Perry was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance, drug tax stamp violation, and driving under suspension. January 11;
Accident: Unit 1 maroon 2006 Mazda registered to Edwin Adan Ribas, 1905 Lucinda, Perry, driven by Abraham Vazquez Rivas, 1315 11th St., Perry.
Unit 2 red 2006 Dodge pick up registered to Gustavo Robles Garcia, 1612 Evelyn, Perry driven by Alexa Marisol Iglesias Garcia, 1612 Evelyn, Perry.
Unit 1 failed to stop at the stop sign at 18th St., and North St, striking unit 2. Total estimated -damages $2400. Driver of unit 1 cited for failure to obey stop sign and driver of unit 2 issued
citation for violation of instruction permit.
