The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in session today.

The Board will consider for approval ordering detention glass for the law enforcement center, selection of the County’s official papers per Iowa Code Chapter 349, and go into a budget work session. For the budget work session, some of the budgets they will discuss will be for the Board of Supervisors, the county farm, county fair and 4-H, fairgrounds, libraries and general services.

The Board will then take action regarding Board rules, before rescinding some motions from the last meeting pertaining to Iowa Codes Chapter 359 and Chapter 21. The motion regarding appointment of township trustees and motion rescinding county official publications were made Tuesday, and there will be motions rescinded from last week as well, both pertaining to Iowa Code Chapter 21. A motion made January 5th regarding approval of annual appointments En Bloc, and a motion made on January 3rd to approve BOS Chair. The motion passed on the third is allegedly to be rescinded for open meetings violation.
