The Panorama girls basketball has had a dominant run so far this season. Putting them at #10 in the state with an 11-1 overall record and 9-0 in the WCAC. They were coming into this game on a four game win streak.
They were up against non conference foe, Nodaway Valley. The Wolverines were coming into this game with a 9-3 record after a 57-53 loss to #7 St. Albert. Before that loss, they were on a three game win streak.
This would be no easy task for Panthers. The real story of this game was once again the Panther defense. Coming into this game Nodaway Valley’s offense was averaging 64.9 points per game. They were held nearly 20 points under their average. The offense also played well scoring above their average of 56.8 points per game.
Panorama would win this one 65-49 as the Panthers move to 12-1 on the season. Panorama will be back on the court tonight. They’ll be on the road in a conference game with Van Meter. Tip off is set for 6pm.
