Dallas Center-Grimes boys wrestling got a big victory over a Little Hawkeye Conference opponent on Thursday.

The Mustangs got a decisive win over the Pella Dutch 49 to 12. DCG tallied  five decisions, three falls, two technical falls and one forfeits. Wrestlers for the Mustangs collecting the falls include Ryan Pertzsch (285), Blake Forrester (120) and Ethan Riesselman (152).

Also the Dallas Center-Grimes girls wrestling took the mat in Pella and came away with a positive result. The Lady Mustangs took care of business against the Dutch the final score was 64 to 4. The total team stat line was eight falls and one major decision for DCG. Mackenzie Sizemore (170) had the fastest pin in just 32 seconds.

The boys next wrestling meet will be the weekend in Urbandale for the Ed Winger Invite on Saturday and the girls wrestling team will have a rest until the IGHSAU Regional Qualifier on January 27th
