The Stuart Police Department will be hosting a fundraiser on February 4th.
The Stuart Police Department Community Programs (SPDCP) is a non-profit 501(c)3, which takes care of all community programming the department hosts and will be having a spaghetti supper and pie auction fundraiser. The supper is a free-will donation, with all proceeds from it and the pie auction going to fund the 2023 Summer Youth Programs.
Stuart Police Sergeant Katie Guisinger says that she and the department will be taking children in the community to an Iowa Cubs game, Springbrook State Park and Blank Park Zoo. She says that this fundraiser will help keep the cost per child as low as possible for this year’s programs, paying for the cost of using a bus, tickets, snacks, drinks and t-shirts.
Sergeant Guisinger adds that the SPDCP also accepts donations all year, so if you’re unable to come enjoy the spaghetti and pie, but still want to donate to the community programs, you can contact her at the email below.
