The Dallas County Conservation Board will have an outdoor and physically active meeting coming up this weekend. 

The DCCB will have a “Hard Water Hike,” from 2 to 3:30pm on Sunday at the Hanging Rock Park in Redfield. Participants will hike  one mile and will turn the Raccoon River into a hard water hiking trail with low water levels. Hikers will get to explore the major habitat corridor which is home to all kinds of wildlife like eagles and otters. 

Those looking to attend will need to register through the DCCB and then meet at the lower parking area near the river at the end of the Hanging Rock driveway.
