The Dallas County Supervisors met on Tuesday.
The Board approved a bid to InRoads LLC of the County Road R30 Repavement Widening and Resurfacing Project from Highway 44 to F31 on the county’s five-year construction program. The cost of the project was $4,727,000 and the county will use farm-to-market and SAFE Funds. The Board also approved the precinct election officials’ pay rate at $12 per hour. Finally, after a public hearing, the Board decided to deny the petition to rezone the property in the Van Meter Township from agricultural to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) due to the area not able to hold a high capacity of people at this time.
