Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School had a couple of groups shine at the Iowa High School Speech Association State Large Group Contest.

The ADM Speech Department came away with  nine division one rated groups from  the state competition in Waukee and two were additionally honored with the prestigious All-State. “No Pirates Allowed,” in the category of Varsity Choral Reading and “Caught Red Handed,” in Freshman Radio News Broadcasting earned an All-State nomination. Other groups that performed at the state competition were One Acting, Readers Theatre, Ensemble Acting, Improv, Radio News and TV News.
