Friday, February 10th

8:34am: A Traffic Stop Elm and 220th Street resulted in Felix Espinoza Hidalgo of Cherokee being cited for, “Fail to Have a Valid Driver’s License.”

12:48pm: Mailee Kerr reported receiving a Scam Phone Call. The subject began asking for personal information, and Kerr ended the call. No loss was incurred.

Saturday, February 11th

2:25am: The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office advised an officer of a subject, who was wanted in their county, possibly in Jefferson.

4:59am: An officer participated with a deputy in a vehicle chase, which began in Jefferson. The vehicle had a brake light out and a Traffic Stop was attempted with the vehicle. The vehicle fled and eventually left Jefferson eastbound on 220th Street. The vehicle stopped on R Ave and the subject was arrested. The Sheriff’s Office in handling charges in the matter.

8:49pm: An officer assisted a State Trooper with a Traffic Stop and arrest near Grimmell and Central Ave. The trooper is handling all charges.

11:15pm: Jamie McCool reported a Possible Intoxicated Driver on 220th, west of Jefferson. The officer assisted a State Trooper as they spoke to the driver. It was determined he was not under the influence.

Sunday, February 12th

1:00am: Debbie Dennhardt reported an Audible Alarm sounding at 301 West Reed Street. The officer did not find anything occurring at the business and the business owner was advised.

7:00am: Dispatch received (2) Abandoned 911 Calls from the area of East State and Cedar Street. The officer did not locate anyone needing assistance in the area.

7:30am: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Central resulted in Noland Stewart of Guthrie Center being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

8:55am: A Traffic Stop at Elm and Central resulted in Chad Morton of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

11:25am: The Midwest Behavioral Health Center turned in Drug Paraphernalia, which was located while moving a subject from Amea. The officer took possession of the items for destruction.

11:56am: Brooke Mallon reported two dogs running freely near the Wild Rose Casino. The officer did not locate the reported animals.

1:40pm: An officer assisted Family Members in coaxing a subject to ER to be evaluated by a Medical Doctor.

8:51pm: An officer was requested at 1000 West Lincoln Way Street, for a patient who left ER. The officer and a deputy located the subject outside with staff members and assisted in getting them back to their room.

11:14pm: An officer performed a Traffic Stop with a vehicle near Maple and Russell Streets. The officer believed the subject was under the influence of narcotics and performed Field Sobriety Testing on the subject. The GC Ambulance was called to the scene and transported the subject to ER. The officer invoked Implied Consent and gathered a urine analysis to be sent to the DCI Lab for testing. Charges are pending lab results.
