The Perry boys basketball team erased an early 12 point second half deficit to rally past South Tama 55-46 Thursday in the regular season finale.  The visiting Trojans led 31-19 early in the third quarter before Perry went on a 22-0 run over the next six minutes to turn the game upside down.  Perry coach David Morris called a timeout and the Jays slapped on a full court press for the first time and turned up the tempo offensively in ripping off the decisive run.  Holden Smith led the Jays with 16 points while Geren Kenney added 14 points and 8 rebounds.  Owen Myers added 12 points, 5 rebounds and a team high 6 assists. Perry shot 45% from the floor despite struggling from the three point line connecting on just 1-14 shots.

Perry closes out the season on a roll, winning five of their final six games to improve to 8-14 on the season.
