Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers boys basketball has been able to find some quality defense throughout the season, and it’s one of the reasons they are currently still alive in the 3A playoffs as the Tigers were able to use some tough defense in their 42-37 victory over Denison-Schleswig on Monday night.
They will be looking to put up some solid numbers on that end, as they are giving up 53.1 points per game, which is one of the best points against in the conference. ADM has been able to hold four out of their last night opponents below their season average in points, and will need to continue that trend if they want success in the postseason.
Webster City has been very good on both sides of the court this year, with the Lynx averaging 61.4 points per game while their only giving up 49.4 points per game. They also shoot 46% from the field, so ADM will have to defend the interior at a high clip.
The Tigers will be playing the top seed in class 3A – Substate 1 tomorrow night when they take on the Webster City Lynx on the road. You can listen to the game on True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com. Tip off will be at 7 pm with pregame coverage to be at 6:45 pm.
