
As the current legislative session continues, more and more bills are being passed through committees.
Iowa House Representative for District 23 Ray Sorensen tells Raccoon Valley Radio about a bill that was recently passed through the Transportation Committee that he is a part of.
“Out of transportation, a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) third party testing bill, which would expand to other entities to allow them to be able to third party test for CDL to take stress off of staff.”
Sorensen adds that there are a multitude of bills in both the House and Senate that are being worked on, many of which are just large bills that take more time to get through. He advises that if anyone wants to keep track of, or just see what bills are being worked on, they can visit the site listed in this story online. Sorensen mentions it’s a great way to see what legislators are doing.
