Dallas Center-Grimes boys basketball team comes from behind in a nail bitter to knock off Abraham Lincoln Council Bluffs in the district postseason on the road, Friday night.

DCG defeated Council Bluffs Lincoln by score of 57 to 54 in the second round of the class 4a substate 8 bracket. The Lynx started off the game shooting at an incredible rate from the three point arch making 9 out of 12 and they grabbed seven point at half time, 33 to 26. In third quarter, the Lynx would grow to their biggest advantage to 11 points but the Mustangs would cut that to six at the of the period. In the fourth quarter Hudson Elhert would shine scoring 11 points while Calix Cahill pitched in six to lead a comeback. The Mustangs got ahead with a put back offensive rebound from Calix Cahill, 52 to 50 and never looked back. Hudson Ehlert scored 15 points and Jonathan Howard added 12 points to clinch the victory.

Dallas Center-Grimes will continue their season for another four days when they take  on number 4 ranked Waukee Warriors in Waukee on Tuesday at 7pm. Raccoon Valley Radio will broadcast the game live on KDLS 94.3FM, 99.7 FM and 1310 AM or on the website stream.
