Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is preparing for another one of its Farm Talk Thursday’s.
This coming Thursday, Guthrie County Extension Field Agronomist Mike Witt will host the informal event going over crops and soil health. He’ll go into expectations for the upcoming growing season, including how this winter has affected area fields, and things that can be predicted going forward. Witt adds that he’ll go over commodity prices, price margins, cost factors and headwinds that farmers may face as they get ready for the upcoming growing season.
