Two dance teams from Guthrie County Schools recently received awards from the Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association.

West Central Valley was one of three schools that received the 2023 Sportsmanship Award, which is given based on votes from all the teams that attended the State Dance Competition. Panorama’s Dance Team was also given an award. They received the 2023 Dance Team Union Be Bold Award for their Lyrical performance. This award brings attention to routines that showed great artistry, outstanding creativity and bold movements and choreography.
