A reminder that today some students with the Greene County and Paton-Churdan High Schools are competing at the Iowa High School Speech Association District Individual contest. 

Greene County Speech Coach Kelley Gray tells Raccoon Valley Radio ten students are competing today in a total of 12 categories. Additionally, Paton-Churdan Speech Coach Lauren Boysen says four students are signed up to compete in a total of six categories. 

Both schools are at Dallas Center-Grimes and the students that earn a Division I-rating from the judge will move onto the state competition, which is March 11th. The full list of the students from Greene County and P-C and their categories they will be competing in can be found below.
