
The Jefferson City Council will meet tomorrow night.
The meeting will begin with recognition of years of service for employees, along with considering to approve hiring a public works employee, a resolution to lease property near the airport, temporarily closing Chestnut Street from East Lincoln Way to the first alleyway south for the farmer’s market for the Thomas Jefferson Gardens and appointing individuals to the animal shelter board. Additionally, they will set the public hearing date for the adoption of the 2024 fiscal year budget and consider approving the quarterly funding request from Greene County Development Corporation.
