The UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls host high school track & field meets today and tomorrow. The Greene County girls compete today and the boys will be in action tomorrow. Derek Merk is the head girls’ coach and Chad Morton leads the boys’ program.

The Greene County girls had 35 go out and 11 of them are seniors, one of the higher number of seniors out for the sport in several years. The Rams return all of their 2022 State qualifiers while the boys don’t return any State qualifiers.

This is the first of three indoor meets for the Rams. The girls go to Ames inside the Lied Student Recreation Center on the Iowa State University campus on March 13 and the boys do the same on March 14. Both Greene County teams are set to participate in Storm Lake on March 18 at Buena Vista University.
