Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers girls track and field had their first event of the season on Monday, and they were able to find some great individual and relay results in their first performance of the season.

The girls 1500 meter race went great for Geneva Timmerman, who finished first with a time of 4 minutes 50 seconds to get off to a great start to the year. In the high jump, sophomore London Warmuth got a solid 2nd place finish, getting a mark of 5-06.

In the girls 60 meter run, the Tigers found a pair of top five runners in junior Makayla Crannell finishing 3rd with a time of 7.94 seconds, and sophomore Jada Grove 4th with a time of 8.03 seconds. In the girls long jump, Crannell continued her big day with a 2nd place finish on a mark of 17-06, and sophomore Aniston Tollari found a top finish with a 9th place finish of 16-03. Crannell, Grove, Tollari, and Josi Dufoe were able to get a 2nd place finish in the girls 4×200 race with a time of 1.49.23.

ADM will be returning to the track very quickly, when they compete at Iowa State University on Thursday.
