Now that the Chargers are between seasons, we’ll take a look at statistics for this last season. We’ll follow one boy and one girl from the basketball teams, and talk about their stats for the season.

For the boys team, junior Lance Bunde played and started in all 25 games, making 120 of 281 shots from the field, earning a field goal percentage of 42.7%, knocking down 48 of 129 three pointers for a three point percentage of 37.2% and an effective field goal percentage of 51.2%, and made 28 of 42 shots from the charity stripe for a free throw percentage of 66.7%. Bunde also tallied 39 offensive rebounds, 109 defensive and 148 overall, while adding 74 assists51 steals, 13 blocks, 51 turnovers, an assist to turnover ratio of 1.45, 32 fouls and 316 points.

For the girls team, senior Sophie Dorsey started all 23 of the team’s games, hitting 59 of 91 shots from the field for a field goal percentage of 30.9%, drained 38 of 116 three pointers for a three point percentage of 32.8% and had an effective field goal percentage of 40.8%, and made 58 of 86 free throws for a free throw percentage of 67.4%. Dorsey also hauled in 11 offensive boards and 34 defensive for a total of 45 rebounds, and recorded37 assists, 54 steals, 4 blocks, 38 turnovers, an assists to turnover ratio of .97, 30 fouls and 214 points.
