Registration for a fun event at the Mary J Barnett Memorial Library is coming up soon.
Those interested in attending a charcuterie class need to register by March 18th, with the program scheduled for March 25th from 3-5pm. Library Director Jerri Hawkins tells Raccoon Valley Radio that charcuterie boards are something she’s fairly interested in,and she thought she’d share that with the community as well.
“I’m hoping it’ll be a great afternoon to kind of come, and you can put together a charcuterie board and you get to take it home with you. So come in at 3(pm), hang out with your friends and learn how to do that, and then you can take that home and have a glass of wine and hang out some more and have some laughs, and I’m hoping it’ll be a fun, relaxing event.”
The class will be taught by Charcuterie to Go from Grimes. Individuals wanting to put together a six inch by six inch board will need to pay $25, and those that would like to put together an eight inch by eight inch board will need to pay $45. To get registered for the class, visit this link.
