A Jefferson non-profit organization donated a crucial item for the youth bicycling community. 

The Jefferson Kiwanis Club teamed up with Greene County Elementary Physical Education teacher Sean Thompson and donated 125 new bike helmets to all of the fourth graders. This initiative was in conjunction with Thompson’s “Bike to School Day” event happening in May. Jefferson Kiwanis received the helmets through the UnityPoint/Blank Children’s Hospital Bike Helmet Grant Program.
