Greene County has a few Easter egg hunts coming up.

The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department is partnering with the Jefferson Kiwanis Club to host its Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow, with check-ins starting at 3:30pm and the hunt to begin at 4pm at the Greene County Community Center. The event is for toddlers to third graders and they will be in different age groups. The deadline to register for the hunt is today by contacting the community center.

Two other communities will have their egg hunts. Scranton’s Easter egg hunt will be held at Memorial Park tomorrow morning starting at 9:30am with photos with the Easter Bunny, followed by the hunt with over 5,000 eggs. The event is co-sponsored by Sweet Treats, the community outreach program with Scranton United Methodist Church and the Marchant Memorial Library.

Then next Saturday will be the Grand Junction Fire and Rescue egg hunt with check-ins from 12:30-12:45pm at the old school yard. The hunt will begin at 1pm with three age groups, including 1-3 year-olds, 4-6 year-olds and 7-9 year-olds.
