Friday, March 31st

2:43am: An Officer was called to a residence in the 300 block of East Washington in regard to a disagreement between a subject and his adult son. The Officer provided advice.

7:53am: An Officer was advised of damage accidently caused to a vehicle that had occurred the day before. The Officer is attempting to locate the responsible party.

8:09am: A traffic stop in the 200 block of E. Russell St. resulted in Megan Wright, of Jefferson, being issued a citation for “Operating Non-Registered Vehicle”.

1:50pm: A traffic stop in the 1800 block of N. Grimmell Rd. resulted in Mark Wall, of Waterloo, being issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”.

5:11pm: An Officer was advised of an open business door in the 200 block of W. Washington. The business was secured a short time later.

4:42pm: An Officer was advised of an 911 call placed from a residence in the 500 block of S. Elm St. The Officer determined the call was an accidental dial.

5:30pm: An Officer was called to the 100 block of Ram Drive in regard to an altercation between two juveniles. The Officer is investigating.

6:08pm: An Officer was advised that a Railroad crossing sign had blown off the pole at the Wilson Street Crossing. The Officer did not locate the sign.

10:27pm: An Officer was advised of a 911 call placed from a residence in the 100 block of Lincoln Place. It was found to be an accidental dial.

Saturday, April 1st

12:22am: An Officer removed a bat from a residence in the 400 block of W. Lincoln Way.

11:04am: An Officer was advised of a careless driver on N. Elm St. The Officer did not locate the vehicle.

11:08am: An Officer provided a funeral escort.

2:04pm: A traffic stop in the 1700 block of N. Grimmell Rd. resulted in Arnold Vermat, of Orange City, being issued a citation for “Excessive Speed”.

11:52pm: An Officer was called to the 100 block of N. Cedar St. in regard to a disagreement between a mother and juvenile son. The Officer provided advice.

Sunday, April 2nd

8:12am: A traffic stop at Hwy. 30 and Elm St. resulted in Brody Steinkamp, of Wall Lake, being issued a citation for “Fail to Obey Stop Sign”.

11:37am: An Officer assisted a Greene County Deputy with an assault investigation.

11:50am: An Officer was called to 300 block of N. Wilson St. in regard to a theft of a package. The Officer determined that the package was left at the rear door and a theft had not occurred.

1:52pm: An Officer spoke to a subject about a child custody issue.

6:20pm: An Officer assisted Greene County EMS in the 1000 block of W. Adams St.

7:35pm: An Officer spoke to a subject about a request for extra patrol in the 100 block of W. Harrison St.
