The Dallas Center-Grimes boy varsity track and field made the trip to Indianola for the Indian Relays on Thursday.

There were a lot of good take aways from the meet that includes the 800 Sprint Medley team taking the gold with a time of 1:48.8 that group included Karsten Freund, Josh Hendricks, Jimmy Seeman and Daniel Onwuramaka. And then  Onwuramaka ran a time of 51.27 which was good enough for first in the 400 meter dash. The other event that placed included John Kitenge with a third place in the 400m hurdles.

The next meet for the DCG boys track and field meet will be on Monday at Norwalk.
