The Stuart Public Library invites everyone to a special fundraising event happening this month.
Rachel Majerus with the Stuart Library tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the library has gone through their collection of books, and is currently holding a sale for the community.
“We have removed about 1,300 books from our collection that are currently available for people to purchase. All the funds for that are going back into the library to buy more books.”
Majerus mentions that the book sale is a “pay what you want sale,” meaning that if an individual wanted to pay just a quarter for a book they can.
