A Greene County town will become a hub next month for one state university.

209 Main restaurant in Paton was recently announced as one of the locations on this year’s Cyclone Tailgate Tour. According to the Iowa State University Athletics Department, 209 Main is the starting point for the early tour that is slated from noon-1pm on Monday, May 15th. 

The Cyclone Tailgate Tour allows fans and the public to interact with ISU coaches and administrators, including the Athletics Director Jamie Pollard, John Walters as the “Voice of the Cyclones,” along with football coach Matt Campbell, men’s basketball coach T.J. Otzelberger, women’s basketball coach Bill Fennelly, volleyball coach Christy Johnson-Lynch, wrestling coach Kevin Dresser and Cy the mascot.

During each stop will be giveaways, food and beverages for purchase, along with kids receiving a complimentary gift. The Cyclone Tailgate Tour begins May 15th in Paton and ends May 24th in Des Moines at the MidAmerican Center. Click the link below for more information.
