The ADM varsity girls track team had a pretty successful day on Thursday April at the Van Meter Meet.  ADM had a final score of 209 points scored on the day and finished in the 1st place. Here is the are some of the top results on the day: Junior Makayla Crannell placed 2nd and Sophomore Jada Grove placed 4th and Peyton Standley placed 8th in the Girls 100 meter dash. Sophomore Jada Grove placed 1st and Freshman Peyton Standley placed 4th in the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Hannah Desmarais placed 3rd and Freshman Brenna Seidl placed 5th in the 400 meters.  Sophomore Mackealin Sutton placed 4th and Torianna Schmidt placed 7th in the 800 meters. Freshman Haley James placed 2nd, Freshman Alaina Nelson placed 4th and Junior Paige Mattes placed 5th in the girls 1,500 meters. Sophomore Ella Goodrich placed 2nd, Junior Paige Mattes placed placed 3rd and Rhyan Miller placed 6th in the 3,000 meters. Freshman Elise Coghlan placed 2nd and Freshman Haley Nelson placed 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles.

Here are the results of how the ADM Team relay results: The team of Anniston Tollari, Jada Grove, Makayla Crannell, Calli Seehase placed 1st in the 4×100 meter relay. The team of Peyton Standley, Lauren Troster, Brianna Young, Lauren Case placed 1st in the 4×100.25 meter relay. The team of Anniston Tollari, Jada Grove, Calli Seehase, Makayla Crannell placed 1st in the 4×200 meter relay. The team of Hannah Desmarais, Brecken Morse, Elise Coghlan and Anniston Tollari placed second in the 4×400 meter relay. The team of Josi Dufoe, Calli Seehase, Torianna Schmidt and Brenna Seidl placed 2nd in the 800 sprint medley. The team of Josi Dufoe, Brecken Morse, Torianna Schmidt and Alaina Nelson placed 4th in the Distance Medley. The team of Lauren Case, Brianna Young, Elise Coghlan and Josi Dufoe placed 2nd in the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdles.

The ADM Girls varsity track team also did very well in the field events. Here are those results: Junior Makayla Crannell placed 1st, Sophomore Anniston Tollari placed 2nd and Lauryn Troster placed 6th in the Long Jump. Sophomore London Warmuth placed 1st and Madelyn Roundcount placed 3rd in the high jump. Sophomore Kennedy Stanford placed 3rd, Lauren Hagedorn placed 4th and Senior Nicole Storck placed 5th in the shot put. Senior Addison Banse placed 3rd, Lauren Hagedorn placed 4th and Senior Nicole Storck placed 8th in the Discus.

The next ADM Girls varsity meet will be Tuesday April 11th in Pella. That meet gets underway at 4:45 PM.
