The ADM Boys varsity track had some good solid performances from their recent Van Meter meet on Thursday April 6th. The Tigers scored and most points on the day with 177.50 team points and pretty dominated at the meet. Here are some of the running event results: Junior Zach Lohmann placed 2nd, Freshman Jamaul Richardson-Williams placed 3rd and Freshman Reed Obstarcyck placed 8th in the 100 meter dash. Senior Cade Morse placed 4th, Sophomore Grant Engleman placed 5th and Freshman Jamaul Richardson-Williams placed 10th in the 200 meter dash. Sophomore Cameron Forgy and Freshman Hudson Stull placed 3rd in the 400 meter dash. Sophomore Shay Holdmeyer placed 6th in the 800 meter run. Sophomore Torin Timmerman placed 2nd and Isaac Chapman placed 8th in the 1,600 meter run. Sophomore Shay Holdmeyer placed 3rd, Hunter Landphair placed 5th and Keegan Holdmeyer placed 6th in the 3,200 meter run. Junior Luke Kranz placed 4th and Jacob Kitzinger placed 9th in the 100 meter hurdles. Sophomore Joseph Kitzinger placed 3rd and Keaton Kier placed 6th in the 400 meter hurdles.
The ADM Boys did fairly well in the team/relay events with a few first place finishes. Here are those results. The team Aiden Flora, Zach Lohmann, Cade Morse, and Jacob Kitzinger placed 1st in the 4×100 meter relay. The team of Talan Guile, Talon Harvey, Reed Obstarcyck and Carter Padget placed 1st in the 4×100.25 meter relay. The team of Talan Guile, Talon Harvey, Grant Engleman and Carter Padget placed 2nd in the 4×200 meter relay. The team of Brayden Rynearson, Cade Morse, Grant Engleman and Chase Grove placed 1st in the 4×400 meter relay. The team of Hudson Shull, Pierson Lee, Isaac Chapman, Harrison Desmarais, placed 3rd in the 4×800 meter relay. The team of Aiden Flora, Tyler Gelhaar, Zach Lohmann and Chase Grove placed 1st in the 800 sprint medley. The team of Aiden Flora, Tyler Gelhaar, Brayden Rynearson and Torin Timmerman placed 3rd in the distance medley. The team of Caleb Oberhoffer, Cameron Nish, Evan Roundcount and Scout Smith placed 4th in the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdles.
The ADM Tiger Boys had some nice top 10 finishes in the field events on the day: Sophomore Will Grasty placed 2nd and Sophomore Kyler Chapman placed 6th in the high jump. Junior Tyler Gelhaar placed 3rd and Freshman Jamaul Richardson-Williams placed 7th in the long jump. Junior Drew Hickey placed 2nd, Senior Vince Benetti placed 3rd and Senior Ben Gaard placed 5th in the shot put. Junior Drew Hickey placed 1st, Senior Vince Benetti placed 4th and Senior Ben Gaard placed 7th in the discus throw.
The next ADM boys varsity meet will be Tuesday April 11th in Pella. That meet will get underway at 4:45 PM.
