April 2

Tyler Gustaveson, Dexter, was driving in the 35000 block of Old Highway 6 when he lost control and rolled into the ditch, hitting several trees.  He was taken to Mercy Hospital by Dallas County EMS for evaluation of injuries.  His vehicle was towed from the scene.  Damages were estimated at $15000 and Mr. Gustaveson was cited for Failure To Maintain Control.

Donald Goble, 2101 Locust St, Granger, was issued a Summons To Appear for Operating While Under The Influence. 

April 6

Konnor Eppert, age 19, 2709 1st Ave, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked. 

Christopher Swanson, Duncombe, was stopped on Sugar Grove Ave, waiting for another vehicle to turn onto 14th Street, when he was hit from behind by Brett Pieper, Grimes.  No injuries were reported.  Damage to Mr. Swanson’s car was estimated at $3000.  Damage to Mr. Pieper’s car was estimated at $9000 and was towed from the scene.  Mr. Pieper was issued a citation for Failure To Stop In Assured Clear Distance. 

Maureen Lueders, Panora, was traveling east in the 14000 block of 255th St, when she was blinded by the sun and missed a curve in the road.  She went into the ditch and hit a fence and small tree.  She declined treatment by EMS.  She was transported by private vehicle for evaluation of any injuries.  Damage to Ms. Lueders vehicle was estimated at $4000.  Damage to the fence was estimated at $100.  The vehicle was towed from the scene.

April 7

Tiffany Dalton, age 33, 310 88th St, West Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Possession Of Controlled Substance. 

Cody Kalsem, age 32, 1035 E 7th St, Des Moines, was arrested on a warrant for Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Sheila Smith, age 43, 335 Willis Ave, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

April 9

Jose Davila, Perry, was driving in the 14000 block of Highway 141, when he hit a deer.  No injuries were reported.  Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $7500 and it had to be towed from the scene.
