The Greene County School Board will meet tomorrow night.

The meeting will start with two public hearings. The first one will be on the 2023-24 certified budget and the second one will cover the amendment to the current fiscal year budget. The Board will then consider approving both measures following the hearings. Then under old business, the Board will consider for approval for the second reading of a new board policy on certified employee probationary status, as well as the former middle school gym demolition delay.

The Board will then consider approving school driving permits, early graduation and fundraiser requests, along with ratifying the 2023-28 negotiated agreement with the bus driver’s union, and the 2023-24 contracts for teacher leaders, administrative staff, nutrition and other classified staff. Additionally, the Board will consider approving the mowing services and fertilizer contracts, the assistant business manager bank access and the 2023-24 agreement with the Headstart program with New Opportunities. They will also discuss the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) capital expenditures and the 2023 summer project list.
