The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

The Board will hear department updates from Conservation Director Brad Halterman, Veteran Affairs Coordinator Beth Watson, including her quarterly report, and Health Services and Transfer Station Director Jotham Arber. In Arber’s report, he will go over landfill operational permitting, payroll change notice for public health nurse Sarah Hart, and a grant for the dispatch console and radios.

The Board will also consider for approval signing the County Substance Abuse Programs for fiscal year 2024 Guthrie County Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Grant, assigning County Auditor Dani Fink as the authorized signatory for the grant. They will then discuss an open house and ribbon cutting for the new law enforcement center including a dedication plaque, and fill appointments to the Guthrie County Planning and Zoning Commission.

The meeting will take place at 9am in the Board of Supervisors room in the Guthrie County Courthouse. A digital option is available for those unable to attend in person at the link here. Raccoon Valley Radio will have results from the meeting tomorrow.
