Thursday’s weather conditions weren’t exactly perfect for golf but the Dallas Center-Grimes battled through the cold, wet and windy conditions.

The Mustangs headed to the Toni Dickey Invite at Otter Creek Golf Course and they shot a team score of 454 which was 12th out of 12 teams that participated. Senior Laura Klaessy was the only Mustang under triple digits with a score of 97 with four pars. Other highlights included senior Lydia Eligh shooting a 108 and Sydney Meintz scored a 120.

Now the girls will head up to Ames to compete against Ames High School at the Veenker Memorial Golf Course on Monday, April 24th.
