Perry sophomore Owen Myers clocked a personal best time Thursday night in capturing the 400m Hurdles gold medal.  Myers crossed the line in a season best 57.58, defeating a mainly 5A field in the event.
Perry traveled only 16 runners to the event and chose only a few events to compete in.  The Perry sprint medley relay placed 4th with Tristyn Steil, Renzo Saenz, Geren Kenney and Myers.
Saenz came back to place 4th in the 100 meter dash.
Perry will rest up this weekend after a busy three meet week.
