
Dallas Center-Grimes boys soccer had some recent cancelation ruin their momentum of being in the middle of the soccer calendar year.
On Friday, the Mustangs were suppose to play Nevada at the SCORE Complex in Nevada but due to the poor weather conditions and severe weather the game was called off. The Nevada Cubs are (7-3) and DCG is (5-2) on the season so it was poised to be a good matchup.
Then the tournament in Cedar Rapids today that the Mustangs were scheduled to play at in got canceled due to the expected cold and windy conditions. DCG boys soccer team was suppose to play Bettendorf and Pleasantville. Two top tier teams on top of the Mississippi Athletic Standings. The Mustangs will pray for better weather on Monday when they take on a Little Hawkeye opponent, Grinnell on the road.
