Greene County Farm Bureau recently announced its five high school scholarship winners.

Two Greene County High School seniors that will both receive $500 scholarships include Grace Curtis and McKinley Robbins. Curtis plans to attend Iowa State University after graduation to pursue a degree in agriculture business, along with a minor in agronomy, marketing or animal science. Robbins plans to attend Oregon State University for wrestling and for a degree in mechanical engineering, with a minor in coaching. 

Two Paton-Churdan High School seniors were also chosen to receive $500 scholarships with Bailey Anderson and Emma Stream. Anderson is going to attend Iowa Central Community College to major in elementary education. Stream plans to go to ISU in the agriculture field with a minor in psychology.

The fifth recipient of Greene County Farm Bureau’s $500 scholarships went to Madison Monahan from Churdan. Monahan is a South Central Calhoun High School senior who plans to go to the University of Northern Iowa for psychology and family services.
