More information has been released on the single vehicle crash that caused injuries Friday near Perry.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the incident at 10:34pm on 24000 of Highway 141 when the driver Mikell Fletcher of Perry swerved to avoid the vehicle in front of her that slammed on its brakes. Fletcher went into the ditch and hit a culvert, and suffered minor injuries. The vehicle sustained $10,000 in damage.

The Perry Police Department, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Bouton First Responders, Bouton Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS all assisted at the scene.
