The Panorama Panther girls track team will have two Panthers headed to the Drake Relays.

Coach Greg Thompson sat down with me earlier this week. When asked about the Drake Relays he said, “The only thing that concerns me about the Drake Relays right now is the weather.”

Coach would then give a break down on the schedule. “Arilyan Steenblock will compete in the discuss on Thursday afternoon at 2:30.”

Coach Thompson would continue, “I think Jaidyn is going to have a really great day. She competes in three events Friday. She’ll have the 100m dash prelims. Soon as she’s done with that we take her over to high jump. Then we get a little rest, hopefully she gets to the finals in 100m. That’ll be around 2:30 in the afternoon. Another little rest and then she runs the 400m at 5:15.”

The Drake Relays are currently taking place in Des Moines.
