Funeral services for Alan Randall Thompson, age 78, of rural Scranton, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 2, 2023 at the Glidden United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in the Dillavou Cemetery near Scranton. 

Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden from 5 – 7 P.M. on Tuesday evening.  The casket will be moved to the church at 9:30 A.M. on Wednesday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. prior to the service.

Alan is survived by his wife Pamela of 55 years; son Kyle Thompson (Brandy) of Scranton; two grandchildren: Jaron and Joseph Thompson; a brother Warren Thompson (Vern) of Akron, IA; a brother-in-law Randy Kernen (Sherry) of rural Glidden; a niece Rachel Meshek (John); and a nephew Daniel Kernen.
