Russell Sulgrove, age 55, 18973 Old Hwy 6, Adel, was arrested for Driving While License Denied Or Revoked and Operate Without Interlock.

Berton Dodson, age 66, 911 Madison St, De Soto, was arrested for Harassment 1st Degree.

Nikki Haukoos, Dolliver, was driving on Hwy 141 at T Ave when she hit a deer.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $5000.

April 29

Ashton McCauley, age 25, Polk Co Jail, was arrested on a warrant for Violation of Probation.

Chase Gustafson, age 27, 1404 Greene st, Adel, was arrested on a warrant for Failure To Appear.  The original charge was Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

Ben Ramirez, age 20, 2665 Summer Meadows Dr, Perry, was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

James Avis, age 60, 17383 141 Diagonal, Granger, was issued a Summons To Appear for Operating While Under The Influence.  He was also cited for Use Electronic Communication Device.

Paul Tisdale, Lincoln, Ne, was driving on I80 near mile marker 114, when he slowed down entering a construction zone.  Alex Detjens, Waukee, did not see him slow and collided with his vehicle.  No injuries were reported and damage to Mr. Tisdale’s vehicle was estimated at $2000.  Damage to Mr. Detjens’ vehicle was estimated at $5000.  Mr. Detjens was cited for Use Electronic Communication Device, Failure To Stop In Assured Clear Distance and Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled Or Revoked.

April 30

Sabrina Starkey, Mount Pleasant, was driving in the 29000 block of 360th St when she misjudged the distance she would need to pass another car.  She went onto the shoulder and lost control, sending the vehicle into a ditch and through a farm fence.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2500.  She was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.  Ms. Starkey was cited for Unsafe Passing.
