
The Dallas Center-Grimes girls soccer splits a doubleheader over on Saturday in Urbandale.
The Mustangs started out the weekend defeating North Polk by a wide margin, 4 to 0. The goals in the victory came from Kylie Knief, Landry Glascgow and two goals by Olivia Cyr.
In the second game, the Mustangs fell to Waverly-Shell Rock by a score of 1 to 0. The Go-Hawks senior Lindsey Overmann score the game winning goal in extra time. Dallas Center-Grimes girls soccer still is at top of the class 3a IHSSCA rankings in 3rd and in first in the Little Hawkeye Standing with a perfect conference record (3-0) and an overall record of (8-3)
