
Friday, April 28th
8:53am: Shelby McBride requested an officer at 100 West Vest Street, for a wanted female hiding in the basement. The officer arrested Casey Lebeau, 23, of MN. for an outstanding Arrest Warrant for, “Operation without Owner’s Consent.”
4:08pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 300 American Drive. It was a False Alarm.
5:08pm: A caller advised that the resident at 705 West Sunset Road is moving a large quantity of someone’s personal property to the curb.
5:58pm: A caller advised of vehicles driving through Washington Park and squealing tires on the alley. The officer identified the juveniles through area surveillance video and tracked them down. Chase Butler of Jefferson was cited for, “Use of Drives Required.” Michael Rumley was cited for, “Careless Driving.” The officer did not locate any damage to the park.
6:01pm: Mike Wahl reported vehicles parking in his parking lot at 1501 North Elm. The officer believed the subjects were at a local restaurant. Wahl advised he will put up No Parking Signs to remedy the issue.
6:28pm: A caller advised of tree branches in the roadway near Adams and Grimmell. The officer removed them form the roadway.
9:30pm: A Traffic Stop near Elm and 220th Streets resulted in Alex Starett of West Des Moines being cited for, “Driving While Suspended.”
11:32pm: Marlene Larson reported an unknown alarm sounding inside her residence at 704 Rushview Drive. The officer replaced the batteries in her Carbon Monoxide Detector.
Saturday, April 29th
1:15am: Gabriel Simmerman reported his drink was taken from him and he was not allowed to purchase anymore at 777 Wild Rose Lane. The officer advised it was not a theft, as business have the right to cut people off from alcohol.
1:30am: Dispatch advised of an Abandoned 911 Call from 903 West State Street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area needing assistance.
6:59am: A Traffic Stop near 220th and M Ave. resulted in Cody Berens of Dunlap being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
7:39am: A Traffic Stop near Elm and 220th Streets resulted in Joseph Janning of Carroll being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”
9:39am: Lyndsey Zahradnik requested a Welfare Check on a subject in the 100 Block of North Olive Street. The officer spoke to the subject, who advised she was fine.
10:48am: An officer is investigating broken garage windows at 601 West Harrison Street. The damage was reported by a neighbor, who heard the event and described three male juveniles leaving the area.
3:31pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1300 Block of North Elm resulted in Alan Greiner of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
4:28pm: Jean Feldman reported a broken window in the alley of her business, located at 107 East Lincoln Way Street.
5:07pm: Thomas Laehn reported a broken garage window at 300 South Maple Street. The officer is investigating.
Sunday, April 30th
2:02am: Tammy Beam requested an officer at 771 Wild Rose Lane for a reported Domestic Assault. The officer learned it had occurred several hours earlier in a vehicle, while out in the county. A deputy was requested to take the complaint.
8:44am: A Traffic Stop in the 1800 Block of North Elm resulted in Jose Chavez Martinez of Pacific Junction being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
9:13am: A juvenile female requested an officer to take her to ER, as she was having thoughts of harming herself. The officer transported the subject to ER for an evaluation.
9:15am: A Traffic Stop in the 1800 Block of North Elm resulted in Nicholas Siebrass of NE. being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
9:59am: A Traffic Stop in the 1400 Block of North Elm resulted in Tracy Mclane of Jefferson being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
12:26pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 200 Block of West Reed Street.
2:36pm: A Traffic Stop in the 700 Block of North Elm resulted in Scott Schumann of Albert City being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”
5:37pm: A caller advised of an unlicensed driver in the 800 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
7:03pm: An officer was called to 306 West Reed Street for an argument between a boyfriend/girlfriend. The officer mediated the issue between the parties.
