Funeral services for Wayne Theodore Harmening, age 96, of Carroll, will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Carroll.  Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery near Lidderdale with military honors conducted by the Carroll American Legion.

    Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll from 5 – 7 P.M. on Wednesday where there will be a prayer service held at 7 P.M.  The casket will be moved to St. Paul Lutheran Church at 9:30 on Thursday where visitation will resume until 10:15 A.M. prior to the service.

       Wayne is survived by his wife, Barbara, children, Rachel (Matthew) Ressegieu of Lenexa, Kansas, Lori Harmening of Carroll, Rita (David) Pedersen of Jefferson, and Mark (Penny) Harmening of Carroll, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, stepchildren Scott (Abeba) Vandenburgh of Seattle, Washington, and Alan Vandenburgh of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 2 step grandchildren, sister, Ruth Kalles of Tacoma, Washington, and brother, Denis Harmening of Story City.
