
Menlo is holding their annual clean up day on Saturday.
Menlo’s Mayor and City Council want to remind residents this is a great opportunity to get rid of unwanted items both inside and outside of their homes. Residents will need to have those items on the curb in front of their homes no later than 7am on Saturday and sorted by material. Items that the city will accept include brush, metal and appliances. Some items will be picked up for a fee that must be paid for at the City Clerk’s office before noon on Friday. Items that will not be accepted are construction debris, garbage and hazardous materials. A list of the items that the city will charge a pick up fee for can be found in this story online.
Car/pickup tires: Off rim – $5 / on rim – $10
TVs and Computer Monitors: 21 inch screen and smaller – $15 each / 21 inch to 40 inch – $25 each / 41 inch and larger – $30 each
Printers, CPU, Towers, FAX, VCR/DVD: $5 each
Paint–latex: $1 per gallon
