The Panorama Panther girls soccer team traveled to Neola on Tuesday to play the Tri Center Trojans.
The Panthers are having a rough week. On Monday they lost to Des Moines Christian after penalty kicks. That would drop them to 11-3 heading into this game. Now they’d have to hit the road and battle the Trojans. The game was high scoring in the first half. The Trojans would get the advantage heading into the break, 3-2. Both defenses were stout in the second half. Both teams were shut out in the second. This would give Tri Center the win 3-2.
The loss is the second in as many days. The Panthers will drop to 11-4 on the season. They’ll be back on the pitch next Wednesday to start the postseason. They’ll be back home to host Chartion in the first round of the Class 1A – Region 3 bracket.
