Coming this fall, the Perry Community School District is moving allactivity ticket sales through an online application.
Superintendent Clark Wicks says that the school district is following the Heart of Iowa Conference recommendations to have all fans purchase activity tickets through the Bound app available on smartphones. He explains that other conferences have already implemented mobile tickets and he believes that people will adjust with the change.
“Whatever the case might be. It’s just the sign of the times, and I think it’s probably going to be better. The less cash that you’re interacting with, I think it’s better. So it’s just how all of us have to adapt and just maybe enjoy the next chapter of our lives as everything goes online and cashless.”
Wicks says the Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union have already mandated that postseason activity tickets must be purchased through Bound. People can sign up for the app by clicking here- https://lets.gobound.com/
