The Perry High School Boys Soccer team punched their ticket to the state tournament for the first time since 2018. 

The Blujays went (11-7) in regular season matches and finished third in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference standings and grabbed the top seed in the Class 2A Substate 8 Bracket. They defeated Carroll in the second round and then knocked off the second seeded Glenwood Rams by a score of 3 to 1 in the substrate finale to advance to the state tournament. 

Now the Perry Blue Jay soccer team will take on Davenport Assumption at 9am on Tuesday on field 9 at the Crownie Complex in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you live coverage of the game with Shawn Kenney and Pat Farusca.
