With the school year over, the Greene County School District is continuing to participate in a program for kids.

The Summer Lunch Program will be from June 6th-July 28th. Free lunches for youth who are under the age of 18 can eat free at one of four locations within the Greene County School District. The Greene County Elementary School in Jefferson, along with the Grand Junction Community Center from 11am-12:30pm, as well as the Scranton Community Center and the Rippey Library from 11:40am-noon Monday through Friday.

Additionally, students who are enrolled in the summer school program will eat their free lunch at the elementary school in Jefferson and will be provided a light breakfast snack at 8:30am.
