The ADM varsity softball team had to postpone their game against Ballard last night, due to weather. The ADM Tiger girls are coming off a 7-6 loss to the North Polk Comets on Wednesday night. Sophomore Madi James and Freshman Lauren Hagedorn led the ADM Tigers in hits when they both went 2-4 in the game. Sophomore Madi James had two singles while freshman Lauren Hagedorn had a single and double while driving in two runs. Senior Addison Banse also had a solo home run for team leading 4th home run of the season. Freshman Lauren Hagedorn pitched all six innings for the ADM Tigers only allowed six hits on seven runs and none of those were earned runs while striking out four and walking five of the North Polk Batters.

That loss for the ADM Tiger girls put them at a 4-4 overall and 2-1 in the Raccoon River Conference record. The next ADM varsity girls softball game will be tonight when they host Van Meter in a non-conference game in Adel with first pitch at 7:30 pm. That softball game can be heard on KKRF – K1079 FM and www.raccoonvalleyradio.com. Seth Tiegs will have the call.
